Cressida Bonas has landed her first big screen role alongside Cara Delevingne.
Tulip Fever is set in the 17th century and follows Alicia Vikander’s married woman who begins a passionate affair with an artist hired to paint her portrait.
Cressida will play a young merchant’s wife, and the film also stars rising stars Dane DeHaan (The Amazing Spiderman 2) and Jack O’Connell (Angelina Jolie’s upcoming Unbroken) as well as Glee‘s Matthew Morrison, Dame Judi Dench, and Christoph Waltz.
Tulip Fever will be produced by famous Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein of The Weinstein Company, and in a statement he said the film “will be the 10th film we’ve collaborated on with my friend Dame Judi Dench, whom I consider one of the most talented actresses of our time. It’s a thrill to have her, Matthew, Cara and Cressida joining the fantastic cast that’s been assembled.”
